Spencer woke suddenly when he felt the mattress dip; he rolled over, legs tangled in the sheets to blink sleepy eyed and confused at Jon.

“Whu?” Spencer muttered as Jon jabbed him in the arm with his finger.

“Shhh, Scoot over.”  Jon whispered.

Spencer untangled his legs and rolled over so his back was pressed against the bus wall.  Jon climbed into the bunk and lay on his side facing Spencer; he pressed a finger to Spencer’s lips and shushed him again.  Brendon’s snuffled breathing indicating Brendon was still asleep and Spencer could make out the faint wheezing sound Ryan made while he slept.  Years of sharing his life and space with Ryan had given him an intimate knowledge of Ryan’s noises.

Spencer rubbed sleepily at his eyes and stared at Jon for an explanation.

“I couldn’t sleep,” Jon whispered into Spencer’s ear, “and I missed you, we haven’t been alone in days.”

“I don’t mind if you sleep here, just don’t kick me again.”  Spencer wriggled down into the bunk and opened his arms to invite Jon to cuddle in.

“Spence, sleeping wasn’t what I had in mind.”

Spencer eyed Jon hungrily, “What did you have in mind?”

“I want to play a little game.  Do you think you can be quiet?”

Spencer nodded his head slowly.  Jon pushed himself into a sitting position and rested his weight on his heels.

“Roll on your back.”  Spencer did as he was told.  Jon straddled Spencer’s knees and tugged off his t-shirt.  He pushed the sheets away from Spencer’s legs and tugged down his boxers.  Air ghosted over Spencer and he shivered before reaching for Jon.

No Spence.”  Jon grabbed Spencer’s wrist and produced a very familiar scarf from behind him.  Spencer allowed Jon to guide his hand above his head and didn’t complain when Jon reached for his other hand.  Jon bound Spencer’s wrists using one of Ryan’s silk scarves and leaned back to rest on Spencer’s legs and explain the game.

“So…” He said, his fingers rubbing small circles on Spencer’s thighs.  “I’m going to touch you and kiss you and make you come… but you can’t make a sound.  Every time you make a noise I’m going to stop touching you for twenty seconds; you think you can handle that?”

Spencer grinned; twenty seconds was nothing, he’d be fine. 

“Oh, one more thing.”  Jon whispered; suddenly Spencer’s world was plunged into darkness.  Jon tightened the blindfold, another one of Ryan’s scarves, around Spencer’s eyes.

“Jon…” Spencer whimpered.

Jon was gone again, his hand still holding Spencer’s struggling hands above his head.  This time he didn’t tap out the time; Spencer wriggled under him, he clenched his legs around Jon to coax him closer.  After what felt like an eternity he snapped.

“Jon…” he breathed.  Jon’s finger appeared behind his knee again, tapping out the seconds.  He had to pay twice over for giving in.  Forty seconds of agony.  He squirmed his hips, pushing them up trying to connect with something… anything.
