Well this weekend was kindof a bust really. I planned to work on my bigbang, and just didn't at all... i fail at keeping to schedules. I don't know guys, i don't honeslty think i'm going to get it done. I only have like 5000ish words with no set plot to follow. I really should have come up with a plot before i started to write, so far i'm just going off random ideas and they've sortof run dry. I had a bunch of ideas on a separate file; but they're all gone and i can't seem to dig them out of my head again.
I did learn a few things this weekend though while i wasn't working on my fic.. ooops! :s
My car (a vw beetle) doesn't like the snow at all. It doesn't even sink in th snow, in fact it floats on top of it. which is both terrifying and really fun when my car's sliding all over the road. Also getting stuck in a snow pile at the barn sucks!
Without a paddle is as funny, if not funnier the more you watch it!!
I bought a guitar tuner and finally changed all the stings on my guitar, it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be! :D But strangely, when i went to the guitar store i felt kinda wierd. I know it's just my wierd insecurities, but i felt like i didn't belong, like they knew i have no clue about what i'm doing and were all staring, judging me! Stupid i know, but still. I would have loved to browse the guitars but instead just got my tuner and left. I really need more confidence.
Also, while i was looking through my note book in the hopes of working on fic i found something i forgot i wrote. I wrote this on the plane over to England. I intended to write this and then work on fic on the plane; but instead i wrote this and fell asleep. :(
So um, it's Brendon and Spencer. Gen fic, friendship really. Mainly because i can't pair Spencer with anyone but Jon!!
So enjoy..
Brendon sighed, they had been in the air for two hours and already he was bored. Spencer shifted in his seat; he cocked his head slightly in his friend’s direction but he didn’t take his eyes off the book he was reading; he rarely had time to read and wasn’t going to waste this opportunity.
“Spence…” Brendon’s voice was quiet and a little whiny to Spencer’s ears. Spencer still didn’t look away from the page he was on but he stopped reading, marking the word with his thumb.
“Spencer, I’m so bored.”
Finally Spencer relented and glanced over at Brendon.
“You didn’t bring anything to do?” He asked.
“Yes, but it’s all boring. Entertain me!”
“No.” Spencer’s eyes travelled back to the book still propped open in his hand; he didn’t start reading though.
“Please Spence. Jon’s asleep and Ryan’s writing. You know I’m not allowed to interrupt Ryan when he’s being poetic.”
Spencer really wanted to finish this chapter at least, so he held out his free hand for Brendon who took it eagerly; that should keep him entertained for a while. Sure enough the minute Spencer started reading again Brendon held Spencer’s hand up in front of his own face, tracing over the fingers and studying his skin. Spencer felt Brendon rub his thumb over the calluses Spencer had developed from drumming. He could feel the calluses on Brendon’s own hands, in different places than his own.
By the time Spencer realised he had read the same paragraph at least three times, Brendon had moved on to examining his wrist. He was very distracting.
Spencer gave up on his book and closed his eyes. Brendon’s soft ministrations with his hands lulling Spencer into a light sleep.
“Spence! That’s not entertaining me, that’s sleeping. Entertain me!”

i know i have to go in again, i have no amp.. i wasn't carrying my old one over the sea so i'll have to go buy one! eeep!! maybe next time i'll try to go in when it's busier and they won't be bothered with me, trying to help me all the time! i just want to look at the pretty guitars i will never be able to afford!!!
i've been told to continue the fic. which i might do.. it would stay gen, cos spencer is jons man! i can't have him with anyone else, so keep an eye out!!
oh yes you should go and look at the guitars that you cant afford!! i do that all the time and its so much fun!! :D

And no worries! At the moment I'm finishing up this Bob/Spencer fic I'm working on and for some reason the last scene is kicking my arse. Almost there though.

Yeah. Oh for the days when all I did was read fic. I have no clue what prompted me to start writing! Its frustrating at times!
I know right?! I was the world's greatest lurker and stealth reader of fic. But since I actually got a journal it's like I need to write! And post! And contribute! Or, um, something :D
Iknow what you mean. I lurked for years but then got a journal and got involved and felt I had to contribute, so started to write. Don't get me wrong, im glad I did, its just wierd.
There's so much awesome fic coming up with bigbang and all. I sorta got involved properly after that so i'm not signed up but I'm REALLY looking forward to reading tonnes of awesome stuff!
Im kinda looking forward to all the great bigbang fics but also shitting myself, cos I have to write 15000 in just under 2 months, eeep! I got involved a few months before bigbang and thought what the hell, it didn't seem so bad all those months ago.

Yes. I can do it *crosses fingers*. I actually just wrote my first scene involving actual sex... so yeah, at least my brain is cooperating again.

i loved that brendon stayed occupied holding and studying spencers hand..well,come to think of it, it would keep me occupied too :D
